Yogi Adityanath,
Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, aims to seek a new growth plan for Braj by
laying out his dream agenda that Mathura and Vrindavan would be re-vitalized
like the large development that is in progress in Ayodhya. Noting that
thousands of devotees were converging on the temple town, CM said while
addressing thousands at the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi. This will not only be a
great booster of spiritual tourism throughout the area but also help
tremendously in restoration of housing infrastructure and providing an immense
scope for regional development especially through promotion of tourism
activities along the Govardhan parikrama as also 84 Kosi parikrama.
A New Chapter
for Braj Bhoomi:
During his recent visit to Mathura, CM Yogi Adityanath chaired a
pivotal board meeting of the Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad to
review the real-time progress of various ongoing mega-projects. The core
message delivered to officials was unambiguous: the state is fiercely committed
to reviving the ancient glory of the Braj region while equipping it with
world-class, modern amenities.
"If Lord Krishna blesses us, future development programs in Braj
Dham will be ensured just like in Ayodhya," the Chief Minister proclaimed,
drawing a direct and ambitious parallel to the monumental strides made at the
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. This vision bridges the gap between preserving
millennia-old traditions and building a robust, future-ready urban
infrastructure capable of hosting global tourism.
Focus on the
Parikrama Routes:
● One of the biggest takeaways from the Chief
Minister's address was also a promise to overhaul the region's sacred pilgrim
circuits and pave the way for other
proposed development projects.
● Every year, millions of devotees flock to the
Govardhan Hill to complete the holy circumbulation around it known as Govardhan
Parikrama which is about 21 kms. CM Yogi has recognized its deep rooted
spiritual and logistical importance, which is why he has ordered dedicated
two-lanes roads for the Govardhan Parikrama as well as 84-Kosi
Circumambulation.
The grand manner of
construction of these sprawling paths will ensure seamless connectivity,
improved safety and modern rest facilities for pilgrims. The targeted
infrastructure push includes:
● Wider Two-Lane Roads: Allowing millions of pedestrians and vehicular movement
during the peak festival season, so peak bottlenecks can be avoided.
● Upgrading Parking Facility: Purposeful and effective solution to persistent
congestion challenges in overcrowded stretches of Mathura, Vrindavan and
Govardhan.
● Better Facilities for Pilgrims: Creating wayside facilities, clean drinking
water and sanitation along the vast 84-Kosi and Govardhan Parikrama routes
● Banke Bihari Corridor: Expediting the ongoing talks and design work for
construction setting to be able to provide immaculate and big darshan for
masses at banks of Ganga.
Tourism, Safety, and
the Safe City Project:
Realizing that
large-scale spiritual tourism needs to be supported by adamant security, CM
Yogi also opened a state-of-the-art Tourist Police Station in Vrindavan. It is
a round-the-clock facility developed under the UP government’s umbrella Safe
City Project. It has smart surveillance systems, a sprawling network of CCTV
cameras and a dedicated cyber cell to catch matched malefactors engaging in
tourism fraud or any online mall vendor.
In addition, it has
Women and Persons with Disabilities help desks manned by trained personnel well
versed in several Indian and foreign languages to assist international as well
as domestic tourists. There is also an adjacent information centre that will
offer visitors real-time updates on temple timing, local lodgings, and travel
advisories to help them make their pilgrimage worry-free and safe.
The Cultural Resurgence
of Mathura:
The Chief Minister’s
vision extends beyond roads, housing, and police stations; it is steeped in the
preservation of culture. He said that India is endowed with one of the world's
largest, colorful and diversity driven festival culture which generate huge
positivity and millions of threads in society. In light of the massive
outpouring at Holi this past week which brought record crowds to Barsana,
Nandgaon, Baldev, as well as Govardhan he spoke with gratitude about the
thousands participating in peace and joy.
“We all have
memories of our Krishna Kanhaiya in every speck and particle present here,
likewise, memories of Radha Rani are engraved within them,” Yogi Adityanath
said. This cultural renaissance
has been led by the Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad to aggressively
modernise infrastructure and also ensure that the spiritual and historical
essence of the Dwapar era is preserved at every level.
Conclusion and Future
Outlook:
The plan for
Mathura presages an economic and spiritual bonanza. This is a rapidly growing
demand for sustainable, modern living spaces that attest to the city’s heritage
and for sectors such as real estate and localized development initiatives. With
the 84-Kosi Parikrama likely to be given a new lease of life and Govardhan
Parikrama being bestowed with a major facelift, it is certain that Braj is on
the verge of an Ayodhya-like makeover.
The state
government has made it clear that no delay in the development projects will be
tolerated and they need to be executed fast with accountability. Through its
masterful fusion of two words, "Vikas" (development) and
"Virasat" (heritage), Mathura is getting ready to gift the world a
pilgrimage and a living experience so deeply ingrained in ancient customs yet
underpinned by advanced, top-drawer infrastructure.
Invest in the Future of
Braj with Earthousing
Now, as Mathura and
Vrindavan step into this new wave of growth and modernization, there has been
no better time than now to invest in a piece of property in this holy land.
Building modern premium houses upholding the true spiritual ethos of the city
has always been our priority as we strongly believe that a house should never
just be a developed asset but more of a genuine family home. Be a part of
Mathura's grand comeback.
